On the go!

Hello again! So I didn't get around to posting my layout for the scrap-a-long yesterday...my bad. I finally finished my taxes and was just too exhausted to put together a post :-( My plan last week was to use 2 sketches...yeah, that didn't happen! I used a PageMaps sketch for the layout and used up more of the Basic Grey paper that I had been hoarding. Here's the sketch:

Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey (Lime Rickey)
Embellishments: Basic Grey- stickers (letter, border, chipboard arrow & bird); American Crafts- Thickers; Me & My Big Ideas- journaling spot
Tools: Fiskars- white gel pen

I wasn't completely happy with the layout at first. It felt like something was missing so I added the faux stitching. As for this week's sketch(es) for the scrap-a-long, I'm participating in the 'Battle of the Design Teams' challenge on The Greeting Farm blog so I'll be creating cards and maybe an altered project.
